My combined training in nutritional research, clinical practice, counseling, and teaching has solidified my goal of translating theoretical knowledge and research insights into targeted practices. Currently, I am focusing on medical and clinical research in the area of perioperative medicine, specifically evaluating the effect of nutritional prehabilitation on recovery outcomes after cardiac surgery and assessing the prevalence of malnutrition in the surgical population, along with its associations with patient-centered outcomes.
