Distinguished Lecture by Prof. Gavin Perkins

The Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care was honoured to host Professor Gavin Perkins, Dean of Medicine at the University of Warwick and an Honorary Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine, who delivered a distinguished lecture entitled “Resuscitation 2050 – What the Future Might Hold” on April 14, 2026.

The lecture inspired us to explore how technology, data, systems design and scientific discovery may transform outcomes for critically ill patients over the coming decades.
