Dr. Rosinni Wong

FHKCA FHKAM (Anaesthesiology)

Rosinni is an Associate Consultant of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care in Prince of Wales Hospital. She is also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has special interests in regional anesthesia and cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. She is a core member of the regional anesthesia team in the department who provides regular expert support for regional block techniques performed on high risks and medically challenged patients.

She has participated as a faculty member at the International Symposium on Spine and Paravertebral Sonography, Hong Kong, in 2018 and 2021, and as an assistant faculty member at the International Conference of Regional Anesthesia and Analgesia, Vietnam, RA Asia in 2019. She is an experienced demonstrator and tutor in international workshops on various regional anaesthesia techniques. She is currently one of the directors of the Asian and Oceanic Society of Regional Anaesthesia, representing Hong Kong. 

As the Supervisor of Training in anaesthesia in Prince of Wales Hospital, Rosinni is an active member in the organisation and participation of training activities for residents undergoing training. She is also an echocardiography trainer of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists. In 2022, she organised weekend workshops on ultrasound guided regional block techniques and focused trans-thoracic echocardiography for her residents within the department with great success.
