Dr. So Hing Yu

HY is Honorary Consultant in Intensive Care at the Department of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care of the Prince of Wales Hospital and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also Honorary Consultant in Quality and Safety at the Division of Quality and Safety of the NTEC and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the HKJC School of Primary and Public Health of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

HY started his training in simulation-based medical education since 2014 and has completed courses and visiting scholarship at the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston. He is the immediate past Honorary Director of HKJC Innovative Learning Centre for Medicine and also course director of the Comprehensive Simulation Educator Course. He completed his Master of Health Professions Education at the University of Maastricht in 2020 and is currently Educationist of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. HY now concentrates on promoting modernization of postgraduate medical education in Hong Kong.
