Dr. Ranjith Kumar SIVAKUMAR

Dr. Ranjith Kumar Sivakumar is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He specializes in regional anesthesia and clinical research, with a strong foundation in biostatistics. In 2021, he completed his clinical and research fellowship in regional anesthesia in Hong Kong, gaining extensive expertise in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional anesthesia techniques, including real-time ultrasound-guided central neuraxial blocks. Dr. Sivakumar has authored 55 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters, with his research focusing on regional anesthesia techniques, biostatistics, and clinical patient outcomes. His contributions have been recognized, with an H-index of 13 and an i10-index of 16 (Google Scholar as of March 2025). As an active educator and researcher, Dr. Sivakumar has been invited as faculty at multiple international workshops and conferences, including ASRA and ESRA conferences. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several reputed journals in anesthesiology. Dr. Sivakumar is committed to enhancing patient care through the advancement of regional anesthesia and improving evidence synthesis to support clinical decision-making and optimize outcomes.
