Professor Ou-yang CHEN is an Associate Professor at Capital Medical University and an Associate Research Fellow at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University.
His research centers on neuroimmune modulation, in which he has made a series of significant contributions. By systematically elucidating the mechanisms and translational potential of neuroimmune regulation in pruritus, pain, and associated cognitive impairments, he has established a logically integrated research framework that offers a strong theoretical foundation for addressing peripheral nervous system disorders and their cognitive consequences.
To date, he has published 20 peer-reviewed publications indexed by SCI, including 10 as first or co-first author, with publications in Cell, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Pain, and Trends in Neurosciences. His work has been supported by a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Project ,and he has been recognized by several talent programs, including the 18th Beijing Overseas High-Level Talent Program (Youth Category) and the Outstanding Young Investigator Fund of Capital Medical University.
