Do not forget to observe the bony outlines. Parts of the humerus, cervical spine etc. may be visible and should be assessed. In particular observe the following systematically.

Clavicles
Anterior and posterior ribs.
Thoracic Spine
Pedicles
Transverse processes
Spinous Processes
Sternum
